Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Provides Festive Fun for All

There are still two weeks left to visit Christmas Town at Busch Gardens, an all out holiday extravaganza featuring dazzling shows, delectable food and beautiful sights, sounds and shows that create the perfect holiday atmosphere.

Busch Gardens expanded the Christmas Town event this year into its Italy Village. Guests can experience the flair of a traditional Italian Christmas, featuring a golden color scheme, traditional Italian holiday fare and angels adorning many of the areas in the Italian pavilion, which is also adorned with a million twinkling lights. Guests can enjoy Miracles, the newest Christmas-themed Busch Gardens show, located at II Teatro di San Marco.

Also new to this year’s festivities is the Flight of Lights gondola ride. Guests can soar 80 feet in the air aboard one of Busch Gardens gondolas for a birds-eye-view of the themed villages and holiday décor.

The park’s newest KIDsiderate store is located the German Village. The Stocking Shop features pre-wrapped gifts that kids can purchase to surprise their family and friends. Adults will enjoy the Mistletoe Marketplace, a traditional outdoor German market featuring local artisans.

Returning favorites include the stage productions of the Christmas-themed Rejoice and Deck the Halls. Santa will also appear at his North Pole Workshop and O Tannenbaum will be also be performed, featuring Busch Garden’s iconic 50-foot, light-animated Christmas Tree.

Christmas Town is open every day now through December 31, excluding Christmas day. Hours of operation are 3pm-10pm, except for Christmas Eve, when the park will close at 9pm.

Celebrate Christmas in Williamsburg, Virginia

The holiday season in Williamsburg, Virginia is a special time of year filled with merriment and special events. The cobblestone streets, colonial homes, live carolers and horse-drawn carriages create an atmosphere perfect for celebrating Christmas. Plus, guests can explore Christmas themes from around Europe and discover new holiday traditions from around the world. Shows featured during Christmas Town include Deck the Halls, O Tannenbaum, Rejoice, and A Sesame Street Christmas. During Christmas Town, select rides are also open for guest enjoyment. Caribou Train Station, Curse of DarKastle, Der Autobahn, Der Autobahn Jr., Roto Baron, Europe in the Air, Griffon, Kinder Karussel, Lil’ Clydes, Tweedside Train Station and Der Wirbelwind will be open.
