For the eighth consecutive year, York County is bringing back Rhythms on the Riverwalk. This 5-week concert series will feature different jazz or big band music each week.  The weekly concerts will be held on the performance stage overlooking the York River at Riverwalk Landing in historic Yorktown.

Concerts will be held on Friday evenings from 6:30-8:30 beginning September 7, 2012. The complete concert schedule is as follows:

• September 7:  Williamsburg Classic Swing Orchestra
• September 14:  Super Jazz Band featuring Conni Mann
• September 21:  Charles Darden Band
• September 28:  Doug Dunn and the Steel River Band
• October 5:  Tailgate Down

All concerts are free and guests should bring lawn chairs or blankets. Food will be available for purchase and there is free parking available at the Riverwalk landing parking terrace and other public lots throughout Yorktown.
