The 20th annual horseshoes tournament at Colonial
Williamsburg is happening from 10am-8:30pm on the Golden Horseshoe Green
Course. Registration is $510 per team and must be received by October 30. For

Yorktown Holiday Open House

Veterans Day Weekend
Enjoy free admission to all National Parks throughout the
country including Colonial National Historical Park, Historic Jamestowne and
Yorktown Battlefield.

& Feasts of Colonial Virginia
Learn all about Colonial Virginia foodways during this three
day event. Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center will have special
events to show how food was gathered and prepared by colonists and Powhatan
Indians.
November 23 – December 31:
Christmas Town: A Busch Gardens Celebration
Busch Gardens Williamsburg transforms into a winter
wonderland during Christmas Town. The park is lit up with millions of lights,
you can visit Santa, and sip on peppermint fudge hot chocolate.
November 23 – January 1:
Illuminate Your Holidays at Colonial Williamsburg
Enjoy special holiday events, Christmas decorations,
shopping, and festive dining at Colonial Williamsburg during the holiday season.
November 30:
Christmas Tree Lighting
The tradition of the Yorktown Christmas tree lighting has
been going on since 1945. The Fifes and Drums of York Town will perform at 7pm
at the Victory Monument, there will be a procession of lights through the
historic village, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will make appearances.
